One of the scariest aspects of having Donald Trump as the president of the United States is the fact that he represents the United States on the global stage. Knowing he’s about to give a speech in front of the United Nations is a nail-biter for sure. He never fails to deliver face-palm worthy moments that make Americans ashamed he took office.
He didn’t fail to deliver either during his speech at the United Nations, either.

During his first speech the United Nation’s General Assembly, he honestly was doing as good as Trump can do. He was behaving. He wasn’t bombastic. He was on point and serious. When his advisers were probably breathing a sigh of relief, however, he went off the rails and forgot decorum when he referred to North Korea’s dictator Kim Jong-un as “Rocket Man.”
‘The United States has great strength and patience. But if it’s forced to defend its self or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime. The United States is willing, ready, and able.’

He tweeted earlier in the week about the North Korea dictator and originally called him “Rocket Man” on Twitter.
‘I spoke with President Moon of South Korea last night. Asked him how Rocket Man is doing. Long gas lines forming in North Korea. Too bad!’
He faced criticism for the tweet. Some argued it was simply a tweet. However, what about now? He literally referred to North Korea’s unhinged dictator as “Rocket Man” during a serious address at the United Nations. Kim Jong-un seeks legitimacy more than anything. He wants to be taken seriously by nations of the world. Calling him “Rocket Man” during a speech at the UN is like adding fuel to the fire.
Twitter users agreed.
did he really just say Rocket Man out in public 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 pic.twitter.com/TUAZpcpaXk
