The president opened up a can of worms when he attacked Sen. Franken on Twitter following the exposure of Franken’s sexual harassment debacle. People instantly wanted to know why the many sexual harassment allegations levied against Trump aren’t being investigated? Even White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the difference between Trump’s and Franken’s cases is that Franken admitted to his wrongdoing.
Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine isn’t on board with Trump, and she believes the sexual harassment claims against Trump “remain very distubing.”

Sen. Collins told reporters:
“President Trump was not my choice for the Republican nominee for president and I did not support him in part because of the way that all of these reports about how he was treating women. But those allegations remain very disturbing.”
CNN’s Jake Tapper recently highlighted all of the sexual harassment claims against Trump that aren’t being investigated. To drive the point home, Tapper also portrayed photos of all the women who came forward to accuse Trump. As Tapper put it, there is a “double standard” here since Franken is being scrutinized, while Trump was let off the hook.
