NFL star Lesean McCoy joined the parade of athletes condemning President Trump on social media Saturday. The Buffalo Bills running back is just the latest to express outrage over Trump’s labeling of NFL players who protest during the national anthem “sons of bitches.”
“When people like yourselves turn on television and you see those people taking the knee when they are playing our great national anthem – the only thing you could do better is if you see it, even if it’s one player, leave the stadium,” Trump told a raucous partisan crowd in Alabama Friday. “I guarantee things will stop.”

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now,’” he added.
Trump went low, and then Lesean McCoy went lower
It's really sad man … our president is a asshole

While reaction from across the sports landscape has been swift and harsh, McCoy’s tweet is the most blunt and scathing yet.
And it probably won’t be the last. Stay tuned.
