‪The Head Of The NBA Players Union Just Challenged Trump’s Manhood In Fiery Response‬ To Curry Attacks

Chris Paul, the Houston Rocket star and president of the NBA Players Association, took Trump to the schoolyard this morning with his response to the president’s disparaging remarks about professional athletes who exercise their constitutional rights to free expression. Commenting on Trump’s calling for the firing of athletes who kneel during the national anthem and his dis-invitation of the Golden State Warriors to the White House because of Stephen Curry’s hesitation, the celebrated NBA guard told the President exactly what he thinks of him and his priorities.

Paul’s response was somewhat less diplomatic than NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s still highly critical response to the president, especially in Paul’s follow-up tweet which went on to question the extent of Trump’s masculinity in a way that, in a different context, could be the kind of “your mama!” challenge that leads to a fistfight.

Chris Paul may be right, but then again Trump does have a hell of a lot of Secret Service protection around him at all times and rarely seems to think before opening his mouth, so who knows? It would be great to be there if he ever summoned the cojones to crane his neck up and say that to a 6′ 7” NBA player though.
